AppsAnywhere Company Update
CEO, Nick Johnson kicked off SUMMIT22 and introduced some key members from across the business. COO, Peter Cooke provided a company and strategy update alongside our updated product vision.
Director of Service Delivery, Marcus Paul covered new and exciting updates to service delivery with a customer marketing showcase from Customer Marketing Executive, Caroline Moore.
There are currently no plans to add more. This would need to be requested and reviewed, but as we move to SAAS and with the existing hosting offer, this will not required.
Support is currently available from 4am-8am EST.
All our customers regardless of when they joined, will have access to the upcoming AppsAnywhere Academy and improved knowledge base. These resources will be jam packed with best practice and how-to guides. If for any reason these resources aren't enough, AppsAnywhere Support is always there to assist.
We always recommend to upgrade ASAP once a release is made available. This guarantees that you and your students have the best possible version of the product.
The 2.12 portal was rebuilt from the ground up as a stepping stone towards 3.0. V.3 represents a stake in the ground for our future vision and significant improvement across all product pillars.
AppsAnywhere Product Update
Product Update lead by our Product Manager, Spencer Vale and accompanied by UI Lead, Lewis Howles and Development Manager, James McNab. This session looked into our recent release 2.12 as well as the upcoming v3!
Canvas integration was introduced back in AppsAnywhere 2.10 which you can read about here. However we are excited to be working on introducing Blackboard Learn integration for V.3
Yes, the concept of an App Scheduling feature has been requested by several customers in the past and is under consideration for a potential future release. However, this feature is is not planned for v.3.
We provide a VPAT for each AppsAnywhere release. Our 2.12 release is our most accessible yet. Following v.3 we will get official certification from an external company with accessibility expertise.
