There are a very limited number of parking spaces available near the Museum. Pay-to-park tariffs vary, with a maximum stay of around 4 hours. You pay for these parking spaces using the RingGo parking app.


The closest railway stations to the Museum are Charing Cross (8 minutes walk away) and Waterloo (17 minutes), which both have step-free access.


The closest Underground stations to the Museum are Covent Garden (2 minutes walk away), Leicester Square (4 minutes), Holborn (5 minutes), Charing Cross (7 minutes) and Embankment (8 minutes). These stations are not step-free. The closest step-free Underground stations are Tottenham Court Road (12 minutes), Westminster (18 minutes) City Thameslink (19 minutes) and Green Park (22 minutes).
